  • HOW WE PROTECT YOUR POOL

In order to give your pool the best protection this winter, & to protect our Workmanship Warranty Guarantee, we take every safety measure possible when winterizing your pool.

Preparing your swimming pool for winter can take hours, and involves not only installing a winter or a safety cover, but also includes balancing your water chemistry, adding chemicals to prevent algae and bacteria build-up, winterizing your plumbing & equipment, and adjusting your pool equipment to run at shorter and less frequent intervals.

Basic Winterization includes pool & spa with common equipment.

    • Winterize your plumbing & equipment
    • Add your antifreeze to the plumbing
    • Plug all of your fixtures with airtight plugs
    • Winterize and air-lock your bottom drains
    • Lower your pool water to the proper level
    • Install risers in your return & vac lines
    • Remove your ladders and handrails and store them on your property
    • Freeze protect your skimmer with your Gizzmo
    • Shut off the gas supply at your pool's heater
    • Backwash sand or DE filter and rinse off DE filter elements or cartridge filter
    • Install your solid or mesh pool cover using your water bags, springs, straps, cover stakes, or sand bags
    • Winterizing chemicals included
